My two puppies are very fussy eaters. They eat dog rolls mixed up with dry Eukabuba puppy biscuits. I’ve been told they can live on the dry food alone but they don’t seem to like it as it is. I really don’t like the idea of giving them wet commercial food. Is there some good recipes out there? I would still continue to give them the dry food mixed up with the wet stuff just for nutritional reasons.

I live in a city in China where the only dog food they sell is Pedigree and Purina.. I don’t like all the “animal by-products” they use and find my dog was scratching alot from this food.

I’ve looked up a million recipes online for home-made dog food and found them all to be soo different and just contradict another. There are no special additives I can buy here for supplements.. so here is what I have been making him:

Red/green/yellow peppers
carrots
broccoli
Tomatos
Sometimes cauliflower,celery/bok choi
little garlic for flavour
chicken breasts/chicken heart/liver/pork breast/ground pork/ground beef (I alternate meat every week)
1 raw egg + egg shell once every two days
a few tablespoons of milk once a day

I boil the veggies and meat together, kind of like a soup.

is my dog getting a proper diet? Should I not be cooking the veggies? I find he digests them better cooked…
Any additional info would be great thanks!
Hanson- BLINDNESS??? Why would you even say that ?

Everyone else- is it possible to over feed on the protein? What if I were to give more meat then veggies?
